Sean Strub was the subject in the award winning feature documentary MY FRIEND, THE MAYOR:
SMALL-TOWN POLITICS IN THE AGE OF TRUMP. A film about his pursuit (a gay man, HIV positive, liberal) of becoming mayor of Milford, Pennsylvania, a Trump supporting “red” town. It played at our LGBTQ+ Film Festival to rave reviews. Some of our frequent attendees called it the most joyful film that has ever played at our festivals. (Sean wins. Spoiler alert!!)

Summary of Film: At the center of this stylized, allegorical melodrama, a tyrannical matriarch lies helpless and alone on her deathbed.
