After being embedded with the U.S. military in Afghanistan, which ends in tragedy, a journalist heads to rural Maine to fully recover and finds herself on the frontlines of another battle, between a family of wolves and the ruthless land developer who wants them hunted down.

After a comrade dies in a horrific incident on the frontlines in Afghanistan, a war correspondent, forced to take time off, travels to Maine, only to stumble upon a exotic-animal hunting resort that threatens the local wolf population. When two wolf pups come under her care, she risks everything to stop the corruption and return the wolves to their pack.

What is your screenplay about?

This script is about a war reporter experiences the death of a close friend, she thinks she never known a tougher battle until she inherits his dog and they witnesses the murder of a wolf, then a brutal land developer set his sights on them when she informs his his land
belongs to the Penobscot Tribe, now with the two wolf pups they’ve rescued as she wages the biggest battle of her life to save them and absolve herself of her friends death.

What genres does your screenplay fall under?

My screenplay is an action/ adventure/thriller with a kick-ass female lead.

Why should this screenplay be made into a movie?

This screenplay is about a woman stepping outside of herself to do something for the greater good in a world she knows nothing about. We have become so detached from nature and what the true meaning of what balance is and how important it is, I know this- you won’t find any true meaning to life buried in your phone. This movie will remind everyone who sees it what it feels like to be connected to something bigger than your
little world when you experience nature through the eyes and hearts of animals.

How would you describe this script in two words?

Redemption. Love.

My screenplay tells a story that was circulating at the time — it captures society during the World War era and highlights an undeniable truth: Power is often manipulated by ruthless agendas.

How long have you been working on this screenplay?

So many, but especially Superman (1978). When I was a kid, I watched it over and over again. Same with the Lord of the Rings. I would go through phases where I’d obsessively rewatch certain films — the ones that gave me a sense of hope deep inside.

How many stories have you written?

I worked on this script casually in my spare time over the past three years. Yes — I believe a draft needs to sit and “mature” a bit before you lock in the final version.

It is about a dog named Sallie who is the mascot of the 11th Pennsylvania Infantry Regiment of the Civil War. We follow her throughout the entire war and see the war through her eyes as she forms bonds and relationships with the men of the 11th. It is also based on a true story.

This screenplay should be made into a film because it shows war from a unique perspective that not many others see very often, the point of view from a dog. It also demonstrates why dogs are man’s best friend, how they are willing to be there for us during our darkest moments.

Newly widowed father, Daniel Lambert, grapples with his skepticism of the supernatural as he moves into a charming old house with his four children, seeking a fresh start after the untimely passing of his wife. The family struggles to adapt to their new life, each of them finding their own way to cope with their grief. However, his teenage daughter, Leila, longing for a connection to her late mother, turns to a séance, hoping to bridge the gap between the living and the dead. Unbeknownst to her, the séance inadvertently opens a portal to a sinister realm, inviting a malevolent spirit into their home. As inexplicable events begin to unfold, David’s disbelief in the paranormal is tested, forcing him to confront his deepest fears to protect his children and reclaim their home.

What is your screenplay about?

My screenplay, “Echoes from the Veil” is about a newly single father, Daniel Lambert, who moves his 4 children into a new house after his wife dies suddenly and tragically while at work. His second oldest daughter, Leila, wants to try to connect to her mom one more time but she ends up opening a portal and causing havoc on her entire family. The bigger problem is Daniel is basically the definition of a skeptic, so there’s a logical explanation for everything, so everything that goes on not only tests his beliefs but it tests his relationship with his children.

What genres does your screenplay fall under?

It’s a drama/horror film.

Why should this screenplay be made into a movie?

It’s not your usual “bump in the night” scary story. It has heart, it deals with not just the paranormal aspect, but it goes through everyone’s way of coping with a sudden loss. You want to see this family succeed at staying together, but at the same time you’re terrified at what’s actually trying to tear them apart.

After she wakes up, she has to grieve the loss and this takes a toll on her. She meets Patrick when he comes to the school to unblock a toilet one of her students filled with sand. He feels familiar to her but she brushes it off until she goes to a church to attend grief counseling, the same church he is attending AA meetings at. They become close until she realises that Patrick was the reason for the accident.

The story centers around Jesse, a gifted artist, who delivers both pizzas and cash for the illicit gambling ring his boss Angelo runs. Shady turns spooky when a girl from Jesse’s drawings manifests in the flesh at one of his cash drops. Only the girl, mysterious and beautiful Taria, is very much real and powerfully psychic. Cryptically, she warns that working for Angelo, the father Jesse’s never had, will have dire consequences. That his true life path is to embrace his calling as an artist. If only Jesse believed Taria really can see the future.

Soon after Taria disappears, broken-hearted Jesse is haunted by a series of strange, even supernatural, encounters, forcing him to make harrowing choices if he ever wants his girl back. If he even wants to live. Only after Angelo is beaten inches from death, and the ring’s big boss is murdered, does Jesse take a life-altering mindf*ck of a journey to the nearly unfathomable truth.

Depraved is a slasher that takes place at a college campus. A serial killer stalks the campus mutilating their victims while two detectives work tirelessly to try and identify the culprit. More and more bodies mount up until we end with a shocking twist that no one will see coming.

Depraved should be produced because it is different to other slasher movies out there. The film moves away from the stereotypical ‘serial killer identity’ and takes us in a new direction that is rarely seen in the horror genre. It explores themes that while present in the real world are rarely shown on screen. It also breaks a number of the trends and clichés seen in most slashers. Depraved is a fresh new take on the genre and will appeal to lovers of horrors as well as being more inclusive of groups who seldom have pivotal roles within the slasher genre. The script has already garnered interest within the industry with people reaching out to me about it.
