January 13, 2022 - Filmmaker/Actor Jennifer Kramer (NAKUSA)

NAKUSA is a special film that played at the December 2021 MUSIC Film Festival. There is a 2nd screening on the WILDsound APP on February 10th. You can watch for free and sign up at www.wildsound.ca (available on your streaming services and APPS).

Conversation with director/actor Jennifer Kramer on the making of the film. “Nakusa is a disabled girl who is deeply traumatized by the rejection of her mother at one week of age. Stuck inside her alienation, distorted perceptions and longings – she searches endlessly for the love we all need to survive or risks ceasing to exist.” A must see film for everyone.

Jennifer also is the youngest daughter of legendary director Stanley Kramer (It’s a Mad Mad Mad Mad World!, Guess Who’s Coming to Diner?) and actress Karen Sharpe (appeared on over 70 TV shows). She chats about her experiences as a child and we also talk about the recent passing of her father’s good friend Sidney Poitier.
